Woo hoo! COVID cases recede; mask mandate lifted
As of today, BCS reported only 114n active cases in ALL of Baja California Sur.
Yesterday, BCS state government has approved the elimination of the mandatory use of face masks in open spaces. It is still mandatory in closed areas like stores, movie theaters and enclosed restaurants and bars.
Therefore, the use of facemasks in common areas inside Las Mañanitas is optional. The use of facemasks in closed areas, hand sanitizer and social distancing is still recommended.
